I have written and re-written this post dozens of times. After all, the first one should be magnificent; it should be memorable, it should inspire. Shouldn't it?
Confidence is something I have always wrestled with, and despite my success with Creative Kids Tales, I find it hard to go out there and sell myself. For me, promoting myself is daunting. I like many others struggle with self-promotion. It is a crucial part of being a successful author. It's easy to hide out while writing, but at some point, we need to emerge from our chrysalis and display our wings. I guess that's why the thought of author talks would all but cripple me. Talking to children scared me, now I love it and hunger for more.
The creative writing journey is about baring our soul, and that is what I plan to do here on my blog. I will share my journey in all its rawness, the good, the bad and the ugly.
A thousand thank yous to my husband, Rod who has created the perfect site for me. It contains all the things I wanted it to and a little more.
